Two picked for you. One chosen at random, on purpose.

Each shows its subject, why it was picked, the format and the minutes.

One step away: a connection you would not have planned.
Unexpected
Random, on purpose. Never personalized, and we say so.

Any subject can appear in any of the three.

Why Noema

Curiosity shouldn't need a study plan.

  • You work in one field. The rest of the world goes quiet.
  • Courses ask for a syllabus. Most end in a tab you stopped opening.
  • Asking an AI gives you text. Reading text is not understanding.

I built Noema because I felt my own edge dulling. Tools were doing more of my thinking every year, and everything I tried — books, courses, a do-it-yourself curriculum — asked me to plan my own becoming. I wanted one honest thing: something that knows me, decides what's next, and leaves a real mark. That is what we are building, and you are early.

What an Experience is

Something to do, not just read.

An Experience is a short interactive page Noema writes for you around one idea, five to thirty minutes long. You read a little, then you work with the idea. At the end you see what changed in how you look at it.

  • PredictSay what happens next, then see.
  • DecideChoose in a scenario and live with it.
  • Build a modelMove the parts, watch the whole.
  • CompareTwo explanations, side by side.
  • Put in orderArrange the steps of a process.

For you

Feedback loops, everywhere

The one mechanism behind thermostats, markets and habits, and why systems push back when you push them.

Why this: You said you care about how systems behave.

15 minBuild a model

  1. Set a target and watch a simple system chase it
  2. Add a delay and see the overshoot
  3. Find the same loop in a habit you know

A related angle

The economics of attention

What draws your attention and what you choose to give it to are not the same thing. Compare the two.

Why this: One step from systems: a market for a resource you cannot buy more of.

10 minCompare

  1. Rank five things that took your attention today
  2. Compare them with what you meant to do
  3. Name the trade each one offered you

Unexpected

How cathedrals stayed up

Follow the forces through a Gothic cathedral and see what let stone reach higher.

Why this: A different direction, chosen at random for variety.

10 minPut in order

  1. Put the parts of a vault in load order
  2. Remove one and predict where it cracks
  3. See what the flying buttress changed

Experiences are AI-generated. Explanations and examples can be wrong.

How it works

Four steps. The first takes about three minutes.

With Plus, three new ideas every day.

  1. Tell Noema about yourself

Fifteen questions, about three minutes. No account until the end.

  2. Three ideas to choose from

One close to your interests, one a step away, one at random.

  3. Start one, and Noema builds it

It takes a short while. Open it when it is ready, today or later.

  4. Keep what stayed with you

Leave a private note. Separately, say what to explore next. What you finish stays in History.

Unused days don’t roll over. A free sample used the day you subscribe counts toward that day’s three.

What stays with you

  • Find forming, ready and unfinished Experiences in Your Experiences.
  • Resume work in progress and revisit delivered Experiences in History.
  • Keep a private takeaway separately from feedback for future recommendations.

What to expect

  • Experiences are AI-generated. Explanations and examples can be wrong.
  • Practice gives you a way to test an idea; it does not guarantee lasting recall.
  • Today’s previews stay fixed for the day. Feedback can inform a future set, not refresh the current one.

Questions

A few practical
questions.

Is this a course platform, or an AI chat?

Neither. There is no syllabus and no blank prompt. Noema proposes three ideas a day and builds the one you choose. You never have to know what to ask.

What will I do inside an Experience?

Read a short explanation, then work with the idea. Depending on the Experience, you might make a prediction, choose a response to a scenario, compare explanations, put steps in order, or explore a simple model. The format and length are shown in the preview.

Which preferences shape my three ideas?

Your goal, interests, pacing, depth, preferred duration and voice, plus fields you choose to avoid. These come from selected onboarding answers; not every answer is used for recommendations. Two directions are personalized. The third is chosen at random for variety, while respecting exclusions and other limits.

Does my feedback change the recommendations?

Optional feedback about what to explore next can inform a future set, alongside a limited record of recent completed Experiences. Your private takeaway and answers inside an Experience are not recommendation inputs. Written answers stay out of analytics. Feedback does not rebuild today’s previews or guarantee a better result next time.

Can I return to an Experience later?

Yes. Your Experiences keeps forming and ready work discoverable, including after the day changes. You can resume unfinished work and revisit delivered Experiences in History. Delivered Experiences remain available after your subscription ends.
